I found many websites that expand on deforestation and why it is bad. here are the links.

These websites have inspired me to convey methods of media to encourage others to help with this devastating destruction.
From the world wildlife website, i have found out many facts.
Deforestation is very cruel towards the animal kingdom. They are losing their homes, their freedom. It can also lead directly to a loss of wildlife, and species. Deforestation reduces the habitats, the vegetation and the shelter for many animals out there. As well as destroying Animals' lives, it also destroys plants. The loss of trees can cause climate change, desertification, soil erosion, flooding, and many problems for indigenous people.
Fire can cause deforestation, as it spreads really quickly. this is known as a wildfire.
"Over the next 15 years, forest landscapes equaling an area more than twice the size of Texas could be lost to rampant deforestation, according to a WWF report. If nothing is done, 11 of the world's most ecologically important forest landscapes—including forest homes or orangutans, tigers, and elephants—will account for over 80 percent of forest loss globally by 2030, the report states. Up to 420 million acres of forest could be lost between 2010 and 2030 in these "deforestation fronts" if current trends continue. The hot spots are located in the Amazon, the Atlantic Forest and Gran Chaco, Borneo, the Cerrado, Choco-Darien, the Congo Basin, East Africa, Eastern Australia, Greater Mekong, New Guinea, and Sumatra."

I would bring this to everyone's attention, to show the outcome if we did not do anything to resolve it.
Agriculture can also lead to deforestation, if it is done in mass amounts. As more humans are on earth, the need for food and supplies. And this will lower the amount of trees left to use by a huge percent. Trees take around 100 years to grow fully, so if we use all of them, we wont have any left to use. This will therefore kill the human race, as we wont have anything to survive.
Moving on to the national geographic website.
"Forests still cover about 30 percent of the world’s land area, but they are disappearing at an alarming rate. Between 1990 and 2016, the world lost 502,000 square miles (1.3 million square kilometers) of forest, according to the World Bank—an area larger than South Africa. Since humans started cutting down forests, 46 percent of trees have been felled, according to a 2015 study in the journal Nature. About 17 percent of the Amazonian rainforest has been destroyed over the past 50 years, and losses recently have been on the rise."

Up to 50000 acres are cleared by farmers daily, worldwide. This is the equivalent to 100,000 football fields. This is generally rainforests. This is really bad because the rainforests hold over 50% of the plants in the entire world.
I have three ideas as to how I would promote my idea about deforestation.
Bus Adverts- Buses are everywhere, so the message will be seen many times.
Newspaper front. Lots of elderly and middle aged people buy newspapers.
Magazine. Lots of waiting rooms of doctors, dentists. Lots of people will read and find out.

My advert in the magazine could be a double page spread, to attract the eye, and convince the viewer to read.

Plant Murderers
Its your fault.
Research has shown that humans are the number 1 killer of our earth. People believe that we have nothing to do with it, but evidences show otherwise. People in the city don't know about the farmers cutting down the trees to supply them with wood. They don't know the impact we are making to this world. We don't care if animal homes are destroyed, as long as we have our necessities, all is perfect. This is where i want to come in and show them what a difference we can make if we stop deforestation. At the moment, people are cutting down more than they need. We can stop this. If we slow down.
A Fundraiser is being put in place. You can donate £1, and one tree will be planted. Also, as they cut one tree down, they plant 3 more. This is great, however, it is not enough at the rate they cut these trees down. The trees do take up to 120 years to grow. This is very slow for how quickly we are depopulating the living trees.
